Beaten egg whites

2 preserving jars (each approx. 500 ml)
How it's done
Beaten egg whites
Beat the egg white with the salt until stiff.
Granola mix
Mix the oats, nuts and almonds in a bowl. Add the beaten egg whites with the syrup, mix, spread on a baking tray lined with baking paper.
Bake
Approx. 10 mins. in the centre of an oven preheated to 180 °C, turning 3-4 times. Remove, allow to cool slightly.
Granola
Mix the amaranth and all the other ingredients into the warm granola, leave to cool. Transfer the granola to jars, seal tightly.
Serve with: | Yoghurt, quark or milk |

Shelf life: | Store in a tightly sealed jar for approx. 3 weeks. |
